Nomad Architecture is an Architects studio based near Minehead, Somerset. The practice was founded by Samuel Parker-Gill in 2023 and serves the wider Somerset & Devon area.

Samuel Parker-Gill
Director - Architect
Sam graduated as an Architect in 2018 from the University of Portsmouth. After moving to his wife's family home in Minehead, Somerset, Nomad Architecture was established. His passion lies in designing homes, extensions and conversions that respond to the unique essence of the people living within them.
Sam has experience in passivhaus design, residential design, and luxury hotel architecture through-out the country. When not at his drawing board, Sam may be found at his allotment or volunteering with the Minehead RNLI Crew.
Our Ethos
The identity of a place is closely tied to the people who live there. Our buildings, with all their experiences and emotional significance, are often described as having personality, even when they're old and worn.
At Nomad Architecture, we believe that good architecture comes from understanding the people and places that make our work possible. We think a home can only be fully understood by experiencing it mindfully and seeing how its occupants use and shape it to make it their own. By exploring these ideas, we learn what ‘home’ means to our clients.
We appreciate how our surroundings can greatly impact our well-being and enjoyment of a space. From the start of the design process, we prioritize people and strive to bring joy to the places we create. Whether it's an old or new home, we want to help you discover its unique identity.
